Michael & Meredith Schmidt
MEET THE FOUNDERS
Michael and Meredith are deeply committed leaders whose lives are defined by a lifelong love for faithful service. Whether volunteering within church environments and community-based events, or simply providing care wherever a need arises, they have always tried to answer the call to help. This passion for service is a true family legacy; together with their three children and a growing number of grandchildren, the entire family shares a joy for helping others.
Driven by this multi-generational desire to serve their neighbors in practical, tangible ways, Michael and Meredith launched GraceworX. What began as simply showing up to help has matured into a dedicated nonprofit vision. After witnessing how home repairs, accessibility barriers, safety hazards, and everyday upkeep could quickly overwhelm individuals like widows, older adults, and those with disabilities, they stepped in to provide a solution rooted in dignity, compassion, and practical action.
Today, they lead GraceworX with a focus on connecting skilled volunteers and essential resources directly with those who could use an extra hand.
