Make itMatthew 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Thank you for your interest in the GraceWorx Discipleship Course.

We believe this is one of the most important programs you will ever be involved in. As a Christian, we are commanded to “go and make disciples”.

This isn’t a suggestion from us, it is a command from God. So before you say you don’t have the time, please consider reading the rest of this.

For the past three years I have pursued God as if my life depended on it - because it does.  During this pursuit, I have thought about the times I had wished someone would have discipled me.  I thought about how overwhelming the information was that was needed to grow my relationship with God into what it is today.  I poured on countless numbers of sermons, watched videos, listened to podcasts, attended services - only to be overwhelmed and often confused at times.  I needed the information, I just did’t know where to start.

Discipleship is important in our growth, as well as the growth of others.  It’s so important that Jesus commanded it.  It is important for us to read our Bible and pray daily.  Even these two simple things can be difficult without the necessary knowledge, guidance and encouragement.

We take this command seriously. In fact, we encourage you to take it seriously as well. One of the reasons we developed this discipleship course is because we found Christianity to be complex and overwhelming in the beginning, especially when it didn’t have to be. There is so much information, that it can become discouraging to the new Christian. We have gathered information, developed study tools and placed it all in a format that we believe will bring life to your Christian walk and your discipleship of others.

Even if you don’t know someone that you believe should be discipled, encourage them to take it for your benefit.

This discipleship course is designed for you to take it at your own pace, all you need is a Bible and internet access.

Iron sharpens Iron, right?  We believe that you know someone that will benefit from taking this course with you.  Whether it is a co-worker, friend, someone from church, sibling, spouse or child.  If you’ve never discipled anyone, don’t worry - you will have God on your side.  Of course, you can take the class by yourself. You can be discipled, be the disciple or disciple someone else. You get to decide.

All the materials are included, FREE of charge.  This course is non-denominational and follows the doctrine of the Bible.  The only direction we will point you in, is toward God.

We will provide a study sheet each week that will contain two-modules of study.  There will be biblical reading assignments, additional reading sources and videos in some of the modules.  All of the content is digital and the reading sections are hyperlinked.  All you have to do is read the introduction, click on the provided links to the scripture, watch a video, take notes and answer some questions. Of course, the best benefit of this class is your discussion time. You and your disciple will get out of this class what you put into it. You can always use the GraceWorx Community Forum in conjunction with the course for the added resources. Creating an account is also FREE. Being a member of the Community Forum is required to access the materials. The link below will take you there.

It will take approximately one and a half hours during the week to read through the materials, in most cases it will be less, or you can do more. Just as important is the time you will spend in this course discipling someone else or just being encouraged to pursue more. The time you spend on this course depends on how far you want to go.

This course is a progressive course. What this means is that everyone will start at Course 1 (see the insert to the left). After you and your disciple finish Course 1, you can continue to Course 2. This course is not designed for where you believe you are in your Christian walk - it has been designed for you to guide someone in theirs or to encourage you in yours.
