Welcome!

 Dear Listener, Reader or Browser,

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our webpage.  We pray you enjoy our podcast on Christianity and our Daily Devotions.

We wanted to share some information about who we are and why we are doing this, so that it may answer any questions you might have.  This is lengthy, so buckle up.

Allen and I have both lived a life of sin.  We both grew up in families where the Bible was present, church was attended and God was real.  Unfortunately it didn’t take long before the world got a hold of us and we made bad decisions.  Actually, many bad decisions.

We weren’t necessarily bad men, but we definitely weren’t men of God.  That is, until we gave our lives to Jesus Christ.

Allen and I both have separate testimonies of salvation that we love to share.  Some of you know us, some of you don’t and some just won’t care.  It really isn’t important.

You see, to us, men (and women) aren’t the focus.  We don’t judge the past, because without it, you wouldn’t be here.  God is our focus and our walk with Him continues to be the focus of our lives.

Not everyone has the same story, but every story should be told. Every story is unique and interesting in it’s own way. We feel it’s important to be able to tell yours.

We are here to listen to your stories of how God has impacted your life, answer your questions about where to start if He hasn’t and tell you about our love for Jesus Christ.

Allen and I have had our fair share of trials and tribulations in life.  As we began our walk with God we learned how to properly apply the principles, scriptures and teachings of Jesus Christ to our lives.  (This isn’t a magic wand and we still struggle daily.)

Having a Christ-centered life requires sacrifice, commitment, resolve, obedience and dedication.  In order to have good things in your life you have to take bad things out.

We definitely don’t have all the answers, but we know a book (the Bible) where they can be found.  We consider the Bible to be the complete instruction manual and the only doctrine to follow.

We are all unique and we are all at different places in our walk with God.  Some have a tremendous walk with God, while others haven’t even begun.  Some, like Allen and I, are somewhere in between.

No matter what, your interest in God, is our passion.

We believe in encouraging others, providing a practical approach to Christianity and giving glory to God for all that he has done and continues to do in our lives.

We believe in the Bible.  We believe the Bible is the infallible, inspired, complete word of God.  We believe the Bible can answer all of your questions and can be applied to your life in a way that will center it around the teachings of Jesus Christ.  We get excited to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we believe in eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in surrounding yourself with like-minded believers who can encourage your growth and increase your knowledge.

We believe The local Church is made up of the body of Christ (believers). The physical church building is a place of worship, a place where the Bible should be preached, a place where people are loved and accepted and where everyone is held to the same standard as outlined in the Bible.  We believe the church should reach the community it resides in.

We believe in the power of prayer.  We believe in going to God in prayer for praise, thanksgiving, repentance of sins, requests and for commitments.  Prayer can be answered.

Our desire is that the stories we share and the ones that you share, will encourage others to pursue a Christ-centered life.

Our goal is to bring glory and honor to God each and every day.  We don’t proclaim to be teachers, educators or theologians - there are plenty of websites and podcasts out there that are.

We will share our life experiences, struggles, successes and how we’ve learned to put God first.  We don’t profess to be all-knowing, we can admit when we are wrong and we correct our mistakes.

Whether you are just starting your walk with God, or you haven’t begun, we pray that we can be an encouragement to you.

Have a blessed day,

Bill and Allen
