Sanctification
Sanctification
When I was newly saved or turned my life over to God, I had no idea what the term sanctification meant.
I’m no dummy, but these words relating to eternal salvation were new to me.
Sanctification was one of them. When we become new persons in Christ it begins our sanctification process.
It’s not some weird, super natural term. It’s an aspiration.
Once we become saved we begin living a life of trying to sin less, not becoming sinless, that’s impossible.
Eternal salvation is a thing and so is Jesus Christ doing amazing things in your life.
It’s crazy how we will learn new things in our life constantly. We will learn to weld, create metal art, make knives and jewelry, and we won’t learn everything it takes to be a Christian or to live as Jesus did.
Following Christ isn’t a saying. It’s a lifestyle. You can’t do drugs, curse, look at women and drink alcohol and follow Jesus Christ.
Sanctification is the process of becoming Holy and conformity of the heart and your life to the Will of God.
“And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”
Joshua 3:5
