Know Better or No Better?
Know Better or No Better.
Are we no better or do we know better?
In a world surrounded with cancelling everything, pointing to everyone else, pointing at ourselves and dependent on what the media and politicians have to say - are we really any better or do we actually know better?
I’ve been on both sides of this. I cared what everyone else thought. I wanted all the material things. The more that pointed back at me the better I was. Or so I thought.
How can you point to Jesus Christ if both of your fingers are either pointing at everyone else or you’re just pointing at yourself? Where are your fingers pointing?
Your testimony starts with YOU.
If you are a Christian who is saved and not just merely a follower of Jesus Christ - you know better. There are no excuses. The vanity. The pride. The self-centeredness. The complaining Spirit. You know better.
And if you’re a Christian who is saved and you don’t point to Jesus Christ you are no better than the hypocrites and Pharisees.
You’re salvation is dependent on your faith and belief in Jesus Christ. He died for you. He died because you sin. Everything you do should point to Jesus Christ. Not your side hustle. Not your lifestyle. Not your friends. Not your wealth. It should point to Jesus Christ.
It’s not about the likes.
It’s not about the followers.
It’s not about what everyone else is doing.
It’s not about how much better you think you are.
It’s not about the differences.
It’s not about the wrongs.
It’s not even about the rights.
It’s not even about you.
It’s about Jesus Christ. Period.
But people will look at you, you’re right about that. And what will they see?
You know better. And maybe you are no better. You decide.
Does your relationship with God define you or are you defined by everything else?
Know better!
